Thats truly all some people "care" about these days, giving zero thought to product quality and support down the road, which tends to cost money, too.
Around these parts Cisco is aggressively marketing its modified CCNA certification at a reasonable cost to the kdis, which could get you in the door at Cisco or elsewhere.
By contrast, if you're lucky you might find a used Windows 95 floppy in an abandoned Nortel cubicle. Thats the small big difference.

Nortel's recent "partnering" with IBM means some jobs are going to the latter, not he former.
